Simon Pegg & Nick Frost have a social distancing plan
A few days after Conan O’Brien offered a funny twist on the health public service announcements being aired amidst global coronavirus concerns, Simon Pegg (who we recently spoke to for Lost Transmissions) and Nick Frost have virtually reunited for a social distancing PSA that cleverly updates their plans from their iconic 2004 romantic zomedy Shaun of the Dead, which can be viewed in the player below!

Pegg and Frost have been best friends for over 20 years, with their first onscreen pairing coming in the form of the acclaimed British sitcom Spaced, on which Pegg was the co-creator, and have appeared on screen together in numerous projects including the Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy that began with Shaun of the Dead and continued with Hot Fuzz and The World’s End, all of which was co-written and directed by Edgar Wright (Baby Driver).
The duo also cameoed together in the 2005 zombie comedy Land of the Dead and would go on to write and star in the 2011 sci-fi comedy Paul, as well as taking supporting roles in the 2011 animated adventure The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn, Cuban Fury and Slaughterhouse Rulez.
Their PSA offers a fun update on the fast-paced, and frequently revised, plan from Shaun in which the titular slacker and his best friend Ed discuss how to properly navigate the escalating zombie apocalypse in their London neighborhood, poking fun at some of the potentially outdated humor from the 16-year-old film.
