In an Instagram post, Terminator star Arnold Schwarzenegger revealed how the coronavirus had affected his day to day life. The former governor of California was forced to make some changes to protect himself and his family, as he explained, “After you’re 65, you’re not allowed out of the house anymore in California, so we stay home, and we eat here. … We don’t go out. We don’t go to restaurants. We don’t do anything like that anymore here.” Basically, the actor encouraged everyone like himself to abide by the recommended COVID-19 precautions for those in a vulnerable category, and to self-isolate as much as possible.
In a follow-up post, Schwarzenegger revealed that there was one mode of transport he was using to leave the house and get some exercise. The star wrote, “Doctors and experts say that riding my bike outside is OK so it’s the only way I’m leaving the house, but if you do ride your bike or go for a walk, don’t stop, avoid social contact. Apologies to everyone but I won’t be stopping on my rides for selfies. Stay positive, stay home as much as possible.” Basically, one of the most recognizable men in the world has been forced to change his routines to stay healthy amid the coronavirus outbreak, and we could all learn a lot from him.
