Talking about heart shaped roasted potatoes? It’s no secret that I really like potatoes. They’re the right meals! You can fry them, deep-fry them, boil them, mash them, roast them, hash brown them, french fry them, and the record goes on and on and on. They’re versatile, scrumptious, and luxury meals all the way in which. Plus they are often formed into cute little hearts and roasted for a facet of your valentine’s day dinner, breakfast, lunch, or snack. They’re simply that versatile.
I stored it easy right here – these are basically my basic go-to potato roast approach. You parboil the potatoes to get them cooked just a little bit, then crisp them up in some sizzling fats and put them in the oven to proceed cooking. I went with the basic salt and pepper combo, however, these can be nice with some crushed garlic thrown within the pan, or possibly rosemary or thyme. Heart Shaped Roasted Potatoes Recipe
serves 2-4
- Four potatoes of selection (I used yukon golds)
- coarse salt
- freshly floor black pepper
- 2 tablespoons oil, plus additional
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Peel the potatoes and slice into even 1-inch rounds. Use a coronary heart cookie cutter to lower out coronary heart shapes. Use the leftover potato cutouts for mashed potatoes or common roasted potatoes. Rinse the potatoes and place in a big pot lined with chilly water.
