Fans of Stranger Things and Dark rejoice! On Friday, Netflix begins streaming Requiem: a chilling, new, six-part collection that can possible have you ever hiding below your covers. Death, lacking youngsters, haunted homes, and supernatural entities are all par for the course in this new British thriller whose official trailer was sufficient to have us biting our nails to the fast whereas begging for extra.
The collection follows 23-year-old Matilda Gray (Lydia Wilson), a cellist whose profession is on the rise. Matilda is about to maneuver from London to New York for a year-long residency with buddy and fellow musician, Hal (Joel Frey), when her mom dies by suicide proper in entrance of her. Spoiler alert – it is gory.
Following her mom’s loss of life, Matilda discovers a field of newspaper clippings a few toddler who vanished 20 years in the past. So as a substitute of heading to New York, Matilda goes to the [fictional] Welsh city of Penllynith, in hopes of discovering out what the lacking lady needed to do along with her mom.
