Ogun State Security Service Charges Four Suspected Terrorists

On Wednesday, March 15, four suspected terrorists were brought before a Chief Magistrate’s Court in Isabo, Abeokuta, Ogun State. The suspects, Aliu Abubakar, Abubakar Usman, Abubakar Amadu, and Adamu Aliu, were arrested on December 9, 2022 and charged with terrorism and kidnapping. The Department of State Services (DSS) filed a motion ex parte on March 15, asking the court to remand the suspects in custody of the Nigeria correctional service for 30 days pending the determination of the suit. The Chief Magistrate, M O Osinbajoin, granted the DSS’s request. The case was adjourned until April 17 for further reports from the DSS.
