Wendy Williams is ready for a comeback, but it won’t be on a reality TV show. Her rep, Shawn Zanotti, recently told Page Six that the 58-year-old is “definitely not” filming a reality show. Instead, she is “gearing up for something” and has been working on “several projects” since being ousted from the “Wendy Williams Show” last year due to health concerns.
Zanotti also gave an update on Williams’ yet-to-be-launched podcast, which is still “in the works.” This clarification comes less than two months after the former daytime talk show host was spotted with a nearly 30-person camera crew in tow. An onlooker described the scene as looking like a reality show.
Williams is now focused on her career and overall well-being after battling alcoholism for years. She recently told a photographer that she is “formerly retired” and looking forward to relaunching her career. After checking back into a treatment facility in September 2022, Williams is reportedly focused on her overall wellness and ready to get back to work.
