While fans patiently wait for a Black Hippy album, the TDE supergroup reunites in SiR’S video for “John Redcorn.”
The animated clip, directed by Daniel Russell and Dominic Polcino, opens with Jay Rock, Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, and ScHoolboy Q standing together in a scene reminiscent of “King of the Hill.” From there, a brokenhearted SiR shares his sad love story. He sits on his bed all by his lonesome while reflecting on his ex (“I’m alone, every night alone / Why am I alone?”). Unable to bear the pain any longer, he creeps into her house one night to find her in bed with her new man Ab-Soul, who knocks him out with a lamp.

Last week, SiR released his Boogie-assisted single “Rapper Weed” as part of TDE Fan Appreciation Week. He and his brother D-Smoke also teamed up to perform a medley of their songs during the “Saving Our Selves: A BET COVID-19 Relief Effort” special last week.
“John Redcorn” can be found on SiR’s album Chasing Summer, which dropped last August.
