Nya Ndo, a Nigerian marriage who is also a relationship coach, has advised men not to split bills with their wives.

Ndo, who gave the advice in a Facebook post on Monday, October 23, said the day a man starts monitoring his wife’s money is the beginning of the end of that marriage

“Dear Husband, Don’t Split Bills With Your Wife,” he wrote.

From the day you start putting eyes on your wife’s Money, that same say is the beginning of the end of your marriage.

A man is saddled with the responsibilities of providing for a home. When you begin to scrutinize your wife’s income, it can disrupt the harmony of your relationship.

Allow a woman to spend her money as she see fit.

If you can afford a school of N200.00 for your kids, go for it.

If she has money and feels like the children deserve a better school and offer to support you, fine. But do not share such responsibility with her simply because she ends money too

If your income can only rent a house of N50.00, go for it

If she feels like her family deserve better and offer to support you to get a more deserving accommodation, glory to God. But on no account must you demand a certain percentage from her income to take care of your family basic needs

Your family should survive on your income

Plan your family expenses on what you can provide.

Do not put eyes on a woman’s money.
