He revealed that he and his girlfriend began their relationship in his final year of university.
Despite this, he discovered that there was a man who frequently picked her up and dropped her off. When he confronted her, she deceitfully claimed that he was her beloved uncle.
He wrote …
“Bra Kobby, I am a guy of 27 years of age, dating a girl of 25 years. We have been dating for 3 years now. I met this girl during my last year of university, but I was too shy to talk to her. So, I asked a friend to help me out. Eventually, I gathered the courage to approach her myself, and she thought I was cute, which made me really happy. After a few weeks, I asked her to be my girlfriend, and she said yes.
But then, I noticed this guy who would pick her up from school and drop her off. When I asked her about him, she said he was her favorite uncle, but I found it strange because he would kiss her on the cheek and hug her tightly. My friends joked about it, making me suspicious.
I asked her to introduce me to him, and she did, but he didn’t say much to me. This went on for two years, even during our national service. Whenever she was with this “uncle,” she wouldn’t let me touch her for a day or two afterward, saying she wasn’t in the mood or was tired.
I got tired of it and decided to check her phone. I found out her password and saw messages between her and this man. They didn’t seem like uncle and niece chats; they seemed more like messages between lovers.
I was angry and hurt when I read the messages. I wanted to hit her, but I didn’t. Instead, I told her I knew what was going on, and she started crying. She said she was sorry but that the man had been supporting her financially since university.
I ended things with her, but she begged me not to leave her. She promised to talk to the man about breaking up but asked for some time. I’m really hurt and confused. She says she loves me deeply and doesn’t want to lose me, but I don’t know what to do. I need advice.”
