He made a video on June 3rd asking for help after being invited to the Alagbon police station.
The accusations against him, including cyberbullying and defamation, came from the Oba of Elegushi. Joseph’s lawyer explained that these accusations stemmed from an interview he gave.
Despite not having evidence against the Oba, Joseph answered the police’s call but the accuser did not appear. Joseph expressed frustration at having to deal with this petition on top of losing his son. He asked for continued support from Nigerians in seeking justice for Mohbad.
“Isn’t it funny that I lost my son for months and in my quest to unravel the cause of the de*th of my son, I am being petitioned and need to answer to the police? Wow! I have gone again today to answer the call… Painfully, the petitioner didn’t even show up. Who will lose such a precious jewel as Mohbad and keep mute? Pls you all should not relent in your support through any means achievable. Justice for Mohbad is Justice for all”.
