Gov Seyi Makinde
Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has made some adjustments to his cabinet.
A statement released on Tuesday by the governor’s Special Adviser (Media), Sulaimon Olanrewaju, confirmed this development.
The reshuffle involved moving Hon. Ademola Ojo, who previously oversaw Trade, Industry, Investment, and Cooperatives, to the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters.
Hon. Ojo, a former chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria in Oyo State, will bring his experience to his new role.
In the same vein, Hon. Segun Olayiwola, the former head of the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, has been reassigned to the Ministry of Establishment and Training.
Prior to this rearrangement, Hon. Adeniyi Adebisi, who was in charge of Establishment and Training, will now lead the Ministry of Trade, Industry, Investment, and Cooperatives.
The Governor emphasized that these changes are effective immediately.
