Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez rekindled their relationship in 2021 and tied the knot in 2022, which seemed like a fairy tale, but fast-forward two years, the situation is different. Reports suggest that the Batman star is moving his belongings out of their home as they head towards a divorce.
The 51-year-old actor and the 54-year-old singer have reportedly clashed over their lifestyles and how they deal with media attention. While Lopez is comfortable with the limelight, Affleck prefers to keep a distance from it.
This disparity has strained their marriage, leading Affleck to seek support from his former spouse, Jennifer Garner, shortly after moving his belongings from their $60 million mansion with Lopez.
Wearing denim jeans, Nike shoes, and a grey t-shirt, Affleck was seen exiting his car carrying a book and a Diet Pepsi, while Garner sported black leggings and a blue t-shirt as they headed for coffee.
The duo, who were married in 2005 and separated in 2018 after having three children together, has maintained a close relationship, with Garner serving as a support system for Affleck to keep him on track.

Garner has played a significant role during the challenging times with Lopez, encouraging Affleck to value his marriage and bond with her. However, despite her efforts, it seems ineffective as the actor has rented a place in Brentwood for $25,000 per week.
An insider informed PEOPLE, “Ben is still living in the Brentwood rental. He has been there for approximately two months now. He appears to be coping okay. He has been dedicated to his work and has been spending time with his children.”
Meanwhile, Lopez recently embarked on a solo trip to Europe, visiting Italy and later attending the Paris Fashion Week for the Dior Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2024-2025 show. Upon returning to the U.S., she was seen with her daughter, but her husband was nowhere to be found.
A source revealed to the DailyMail that although they maintain professional contact, Lopez has decided to cease her efforts to salvage their marriage, twenty years after their initial split.
“Jenny has reached her limit,” a source shared with DailyMail.com. “She has given it her all, but there is nothing more she can do. The situation is deteriorating and not improving.
“If people knew the extent of what she has endured, they would be more understanding. Ben is a good person, but he can be moody and pessimistic. This was evident in public photos, like at the Grammys last year; he appeared stern. If people knew the reality, they would not judge her.
“He smokes heavily, curses, and often seems agitated. He is a talented director and actor, but lacks humor. However, he is a devoted father.”
