Ben Affleck has been displaying his wedding ring lately, despite ongoing speculations of relationship issues with Jennifer Lopez. The 51-year-old actor was captured with his 15-year-old daughter, Seraphina, in Los Angeles.
Affleck, who has two other children, Violet, 18, and Samuel, 12, with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, has been seen wearing and not wearing his wedding ring amidst rumors of a possible separation from Lopez that started in May.
Lately, Affleck was seen without his ring while dining with his eldest child but later put it back on as he left his workplace.
Lopez has also added to the speculation by going ringless in a J.Lo Beauty video, although she was spotted with the ring while out shopping with her manager, Benny Medina, on Thursday.
Celebrated July 4th Separately
While Lopez chose to spend July 4th in New York City, Affleck stayed on the West Coast. According to reports from Page Six, the couple, who are nearing their second wedding anniversary, have been facing challenges for some time.
Affleck is currently renting a house close to their $60 million Beverly Hills estate, and there are talks of the couple putting their shared home on the market.
The last time Affleck and Lopez were seen together was in mid-June, following their public display of unity during his children’s graduation celebrations.
Lopez has been married thrice previously, to Ojani Noa, Cris Judd, and Marc Anthony, with whom she has 16-year-old twins Max and Emme.
Affleck separated from Jennifer Garner in 2015 after a decade of marriage and was previously engaged to Lopez from 2002 to 2004. The couple reignited their romance in 2021, with Affleck proposing in April 2022. They tied the knot in Las Vegas in July 2022 and had a subsequent ceremony in Georgia the following month.
