Jason Alexander excited about George Costanza bobblehead that thrilled dans at Yankee Stadium

Before the match against the Red Sox on Friday night, the New York Yankees brought joy to fans with the distribution of George Costanza bobbleheads to the first 18,000 attendees at Yankee Stadium. Portrayed by Jason Alexander in the hit 1990s sitcom “Seinfeld,” the character caused a buzz on social media as fans proudly displayed their new collectibles of the fictional Yankees assistant to the traveling secretary.

Following the event, Alexander, a 64-year-old from Newark, New Jersey, took to social media to acknowledge the excitement. He even cleverly referenced a famous line from the third episode of the show’s final season, delighting “Seinfeld” enthusiasts who missed the game but are now eager to acquire the bobblehead.

“I’m thrilled Bobblehead George was a fan favorite,” Alexander expressed on X.

“No, I don’t get anything for it except the joy that 35 years after donning those glasses, people still appreciate our work. The show was a gift from you to us. Thanks for keeping its spirit alive.”

Now Available on eBay

Several Costanza bobbleheads have surfaced on eBay, with some listings soaring to prices as high as $214.99 plus shipping.

Adding to the excitement, the Brooklyn Cyclones, the Mets‘ High-A affiliate situated in Coney Island, are gearing up for their annual “Seinfeld” night.

They will also be presenting Costanza bobbleheads as part of their promotional affair. The event will include special appearances by Jeremiah Burkett, known for his role as Jean-Paul, and Richard Fancy, who portrayed Mr. Lippman.
