An exciting event kicked off in Ho Chi Minh City as the Miss & Mister Celebrity International pageant was unveiled, featuring over 80 contestants from different regions.
The competition aims to showcase individuals who embody not just physical beauty but also kindness and intelligence. Mr. Vu Thai, the head of the organizing committee, highlighted the pageant’s broader mission, stating, “We aim to celebrate beauty while also promoting the social and communal values of Vietnam, bridging the gap between Vietnamese culture and international audiences.”
The essence of Vietnam’s rich cultural heritage will be interwoven into the various segments of the pageant, allowing participants to immerse themselves in and advocate for these traditions. Winners will be awarded prizes exceeding VND 3 billion, including a crown worth over USD 10,000 adorned with green crystals to advocate for environmental consciousness.
Representing Vietnam in this prestigious competition are Doan Bao An and Truong Thi Thuy Trang, with hopes of showcasing the country’s distinctive cultural and tourism offerings, particularly in Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai Province.
The pageant will feature diverse activities, including Ao Dai showcases, visits to cultural and tourist sites, displays of national costumes, swimwear showcases, and fashion contests. Throughout the event, media representatives will work alongside contestants to propagate the event’s significant messages to the public.
The grand finale of Miss & Mister Celebrity International 2024 is set to dazzle on the night of September 27 in Dong Nai Province.
