The DailyMail released a controversial audio clip where Billy Ray Cyrus disparagingly refers to Miley as “that devil is a bitch,” speaking of himself in the third person. These comments provide insight into their strained relationship.
However, Billy Ray has been at the center of other controversies beyond his strained relationship with the global sensation. Further issues arose from his separation from Firerose, just seven months into their marriage. While he cited “inappropriate marital conduct” as the reason for the split, she counterclaimed citing “extreme verbal, emotional, and psychological abuse.”

Firerose, 37, disclosed a series of restrictive rules she had to adhere to: not having a car, limited outings only for essential appointments, and needing approval to send text messages or emails. She described it as systematic isolation that left her feeling unable to leave. Additionally, Billy Ray Cyrus derogatorily called Firerose an “idiot” and “imbecile” in the leaked recordings.
