Prime Minister emphasizes Indian investments in large, innovative projects

During the meeting with Gautam Adani, the PM praised Adani Group’s successful operations in Vietnam and encouraged further expansion plans. The PM highlighted strategic advancements in Vietnam to boost socio-economic growth, focusing on infrastructure development and welcoming foreign investors for vital projects.

Adani Group expressed interest in investing in various projects in Vietnam, including the Lien Chieu Port and energy initiatives in Binh Thuan province. The PM urged cooperation to overcome obstacles and emphasized the government’s support for foreign enterprises, including those from India.

In a separate meeting, joint venture representatives discussed plans to establish a pharmaceutical industrial park in Vietnam, seeking support from the PM for their investment. The PM acknowledged the potential for cooperation and technology transfer in the pharmaceutical sector and encouraged further discussions with relevant authorities.

Additionally, the PM engaged with BDR Group to enhance collaborations in cancer drug distribution and production in Vietnam, aiming to elevate local facilities to meet international standards. The group proposed initiatives for technology transfer and infrastructure development within the country.
