Burna Boy Reflects on EndSARS and Current Protests Against Bad Governance
Nigerian music sensation and Grammy award-winner, Burna Boy, shared his thoughts on the recent protests in Nigeria regarding hunger and governance.
The protests, which have seen Nigerians taking to the streets to voice their concerns about poor governance and rising food prices, prompted Burna Boy to speak out.
On his X account, Burna Boy revealed that he no longer feels the same drive to protest as he did during the EndSARS movement in 2020.
In a cautionary message to his followers, Burna Boy expressed that he does not wish to be associated with the current wave of protests and quoted a tweet from October 20, 2020, stating, “The fight in me Died on this day. Ogun go doggy anybody wey call my name this time around”.
