The relationship between Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez is facing challenges, partly due to Affleck’s struggle with alcohol and his commitment to maintaining his sobriety.
After rekindling their romance in 2022 and tying the knot, which they did not achieve in their earlier relationship, the couple is now reportedly experiencing difficulties and spending minimal time together.
According to a friend of Affleck who spoke to OK Magazine, a significant factor in their relationship strain was Lopez’s launch of the cocktail line, Delola.

Affleck reportedly felt that Lopez’s venture into the spritz business was insensitive, especially after his efforts to maintain sobriety post-rehab.
The friend of Affleck mentioned, “Ben had to fight to get his life back after overcoming alcohol. Knowing how he lost everything including the love of his family, knowing that he could possibly relapse, Jen decided to start her own spritzer line for more money, as if she did not have enough.”
This issue, among others, has placed a strain on their relationship, with rumors of divorce surfacing. An insider revealed, “They finalized the divorce papers with her a month ago, but are waiting for the right time to drop them.
“At that time, they will release a joint statement that will say how they have much love for each other and how they fought to make it work, but couldn’t,” the source added. “Honestly, in the end, they could not come to a compromise. What they had before is gone and they have both accepted it.”
