ECOWAS Defence Chiefs Meet In Abuja (via Primetweets)
The conference is overseen by Nigeria’s Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, who heads the ECOWAS Committee of Chiefs of Defence Staff.

The Chiefs of Defence Staff from the Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS, are presently gathered for a conference at the Defence Headquarters in Abuja.

The session is chaired by Nigeria’s Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, who serves as the leader of the ECOWAS Committee of Chiefs of Defence Staff.

Among the attendees are the Minister of Defence Mohammed Badaru, Minister of Foreign Affairs Yusuf Tuggar, and Chairman of Senate Committee on Defence, Ahmed Lawan.

Also present are the Chairman of House Committee of Defence, a representative of the National Security Adviser, Chief of Defence Staff Christopher Musa and service chiefs, as well as the Chief of Defence Staff of ECOWAS countries, aside from Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger.
