Yung Miami discloses her connection with the controversial Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was mutually advantageous as she aspired to gain significance, despite feeling like she was a resource to the man accused of severe allegations.
The world was taken aback when reports emerged that Combs’ residences in Florida and California were searched by federal authorities following accusations of sexual assault, physical abuse, exploitation, and human trafficking made by his former partners, which the artist refutes.
Another former partner of his, Yung Miami (real name Caresha Brownlee), has now spoken out about her involvement with him after publicly confirming their relationship in June 2022, expressing that he provided her with opportunities she wouldn’t have had otherwise.
“I think that I was able to step in and become a brand ambassador for DeLeon [Tequila] and elevate it to a whole new level,” she explained.
“I believe I was an asset. I genuinely believe that with Diddy… I don’t know what his motives were – if it was business-related or genuine interest – but when he engaged with me, he truly saw potential in me.
“I feel like I entered his world, and I helped enhance everything he was involved in. With him, he aided in advancing my career. I attended the Met Gala, I got prepared for Vogue.”

Combs’ residences were searched by the Department of Homeland Security shortly after Cassie Ventura accused the 54-year-old of assault and abuse in November 2023 during their decade-long relationship.
Less than a day after Ventura filed a legal complaint, she and Combs reached a settlement, before seven additional lawsuits from various individuals emerged, accusing him of misconduct involving drugging, rape, and trafficking women over several decades.
One of the lawsuits, filed by producer Rodney “Lil’ Rod” Jones, mentioned Yung Miami as a sex worker under Combs’ employment, an assertion she promptly dismissed.
“I am not engaged in that profession. I have never engaged in such activities,” Yung Miami stated on social media. “I detest the way this is being portrayed.”
She later expressed on her podcast: “Considering all that’s happening, I wish to avoid being entangled in that. I just need some time to focus on myself.”
