Tinubu Swears in Didi Esther Walson Jack as Substantive Head of Service of Federation

Didi Esther Walson-Jack has officially assumed the role of Head of Civil Service of the Federation following her inauguration by President Bola Tinubu.

The swearing-in ceremony took place before the commencement of the Federal Executive Council meeting at the State House in Abuja.

President Tinubu appointed Walson-Jack to the position on August 14, 2024, after receiving approval for her appointment.

She previously held the role of permanent secretary at the Federal Ministry of Education and has extensive experience serving in various ministries.

Walson-Jack succeeds Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan as the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, who was set to retire on August 13, 2024.
