The late gospel singer, Aduke Ajayi, who was popularly known as Aduke Gold, reportedly succumbed to cancer, as confirmed by her family.
There were initial reports suggesting that Aduke Gold passed away during a fibroid surgery, but her brother, Pastor Ajayi Aderogbo, dispelled these claims and urged for accurate dissemination of information to avoid spreading false rumors.
In a recent viral video on social media, Pastor Ajayi revealed that Aduke lost her battle with cervical cancer, as stated on the official death certificate issued by the hospital.
He emphasized, “Anyone spreading misinformation should cease doing so. Our beloved Aduke was suffering from cervical cancer, she was admitted to UCH in Ibadan, and unfortunately, she passed away. The circulating information is untrue.”
