“We were and still are heartbroken by the loss of Matthew,” Morrison said, appreciating the seriousness with which law enforcement is handling the case.

The Morrison family anticipates the legal process and commends the efforts of the investigating agencies in addressing Matthew’s death.

There is a hope for accountability for those involved in the distribution of harmful substances like the ones that led to Perry’s demise.

Ongoing Investigation into Perry’s Passing

Perry tragically passed away in October 2023 at the age of 54 due to the acute effects of ketamine, deemed accidental.

Jasveen Sangha, known as “The Ketamine Queen”, and Dr. Salvador Plascencia face charges, along with Perry’s personal assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa.

Erik Fleming and Dr. Mark Chavez are separately charged for their roles in the conspiracy to distribute ketamine.

Authorities allege that the accused individuals exploited Perry’s addiction, leading to his death, and attempted to conceal their involvement in the tragic event.

“These defendants preyed on Mr. Perry’s struggles with addiction for their own gain,” stated U.S. Attorney Martin Estrada.
