Taylor Swift will not be present at the Kansas City Chiefs vs Detroit Lions NFL preseason game due to her busy schedule, as she is currently on her Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium in London.
The popstar, who is 34 years old, has frequently been seen at Arrowhead Stadium since she started dating Travis Kelce, who recently won Super Bowl LVIII while she watched at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas in February 2024.
In return, her boyfriend Travis Kelce has been supporting her by attending and even participating in her performances in Paris, London, Amsterdam, and Germany, as they strive to balance their time together amidst their busy careers.
However, due to conflicting schedules, Kelce had to fulfill his Chiefs’ obligations starting from July 21, which means Swift will not be able to watch him play at the upcoming NFL preseason game.
Swift is currently concluding the European leg of her Eras Tour with performances in the United Kingdom, particularly at Wembley Stadium from August 15-20, before taking a break until October 18 when she resumes in Miami at Hard Rock Stadium for shows in the US and Canada before concluding the tour.
When is the Lions vs Chiefs game scheduled?
After losing their first preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars 26-13 in Florida, with both Patrick Mahomes and Kelce participating, the Chiefs aim to bounce back in the game against the Lions at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday, August 17, followed by a match against the Chicago Bears on August 22.
Subsequently, they will have a break before starting the season against the Baltimore Ravens in a Thursday Night Football game airing on ESPN on August 5, scheduled to kick off at 20:20 ET/17:20 PT.
