Tea Party and Chinese Art Performance for Wives of Vietnamese and Chinese Leaders

During the state visit to China by Party General Secretary and President To Lam of Vietnam, his wife Ngo Phuong Ly attended a tea party hosted by Professor Peng Liyuan, the wife of Chinese President Xi Jinping. The event was held on August 19 at the invitation of President Xi and his spouse.

The two first ladies engaged in discussions about the cultural nuances of their respective countries. Peng shared her fond memories of previous trips to Vietnam and introduced some typical Chinese arts and culture. Ly reciprocated by expressing her appreciation for Chinese culture. They also enjoyed a traditional Chinese arts performance during the gathering.
