In the fifth episode of Miss Universe Vietnam 2024, which aired on September 8, twenty-nine contestants showcased their talents in swimwear and evening gowns. Ky Duyen shone brightly with her lively curly hair and confidently displayed her fit body in a white bikini.
During the evening gown portion, she captivated the audience in a striking red dress with bold cuts, earning praise for her development and self-assuredness throughout the event.
Following her performance, Ky Duyen thanked the audience, stating, “Your support elevated my performance today. I feel truly encouraged. Everyone has put in their best efforts in these segments.”
Vu Tuy Quynh gave a strong start in both segments, showcasing confidence in swimwear and elegance during the gown presentation. Paris Bao Nhi emerged as a notable contestant, aligning more with Miss Universe standards.
Quynh Anh impressed the judges with her vibrant curls in the swimwear segment and a daring red evening gown.
Newcomer Mlee made significant strides, presenting an appealing figure in both rounds.
Ky Duyen, Mlee, Tra My, Doan Tuong Linh, and Quynh Anh reached the top five contestants of this episode, with Mlee being crowned the episode’s winner.
Looking back at the previous episodes, the challenge winners include Nguyen Quynh Anh (Episode 1 – Image Round), Doan Thi Thu Ha (Episode 2 – Independence Round), Dinh Thi Trieu Tien (Episode 3 – Intelligence Round), Vu Tuy Quynh and Do Thu Ha (Episode 4 – Inspiration Round), and Mlee (Episode 5 – Influencing Beauty). As of now, Ky Duyen has not secured a win in any challenges.
