The Last of Us Part II delayed indefinitely

While the video game industry seemed like the one withstand the pandemic the world is facing, Naughty Dog has taken to Twitter to announce that the highly-anticipated post-apocalyptic sequel The Last of Us Part II has, in an unfortunate ironic twist, been delayed indefinitely from its original May 29 release date.

In addition to the indefinite delay of The Last of Us sequel, Sony Interactive Entertainment has also announced via its Twitter that Marvel’s Iron Man VR has also received a similar setback after its original May 15 release date.

In The Last of Us Part II, Ellie is now 19 and has found a semblance of peace and normality living in Jackson. She’s had a chance to be a teenager and forge lasting relationships. When that peace is disrupted by a violent act, Ellie is thrust into a brutal journey of retribution, fueled by a need to bring those that have wronged her to justice, pushing her to her very limits. From the way Ellie plays to the way she navigates through this hostile world, you’re going to feel her physical, emotional, and mental state expressed through every facet of gameplay.

The Last of Us Part II is currently without a release date.
