Real Madrid Preparing to Part Ways with Defender This Winter

Real Madrid set to offload defender: Ancelotti and Perez eager to part ways with Spaniard this January image

Reports indicate that Real Madrid’s manager Ancelotti and president Perez have decided it’s time for Jesús Vallejo to leave the club, with January likely being his final opportunity at the Bernabeu.

The club intends to sever ties with the experienced defender Vallejo, based on recent updates (via Fichajes).

After a lackluster performance during Madrid’s 3-2 victory against Alaves, both Ancelotti and Perez appear to have lost trust in the 27-year-old player.

The Aftermath of the Alaves Match

Vallejo entered the game in the 80th minute when Madrid was comfortably ahead at 3-0. It seemed like a simple opportunity to play, right?

However, in just seven minutes, Alaves managed to score two goals, creating anxiety among Madrid’s supporters before they managed to secure the victory. Vallejo’s contribution was underwhelming, and it looks like this may have been a decisive moment for Ancelotti.

Having played only 32 matches for Real Madrid in nearly a decade, Vallejo is now said to be on the transfer list. The club is open to selling him at a reduced price or even allowing him to leave for free, especially since his contract ends this season, and renewal isn’t an option.

Vallejo: A Reliable Player

Since joining from Real Zaragoza in 2015, Vallejo’s time at Madrid has been marked by loan periods and limited playing time.

Despite playing for teams like Eintracht Frankfurt and Wolverhampton Wanderers, he never established himself in the first team. At 27, it appears Real Madrid is ready to move forward, presenting Vallejo with a chance to seek new opportunities.

While he may not have reached star status, Vallejo has always been willing to step up when needed, showcasing his dedication to the club. As the transfer window approaches, Real Madrid fans might soon bid farewell to Vallejo, as the club aims to strengthen its defense and pursue trophies this season.
