Brad Pitt and his partner Ines De Ramon are concentrating on the idea of starting a family before thinking about tying the knot.
As shared by a trusted source to In Touch, the 60-year-old actor is very much looking forward to having a child with De Ramon, describing starting a family as his “primary focus outside of work.”
The duo recently took a romantic trip to Europe, giving them substantial time for bonding. According to the insider, they are optimistic about their family aspirations, with sentiments like, “The sooner, the better.”
If natural conception isn’t possible, Pitt is said to be considering in vitro fertilization (IVF) as a viable option. The source added that he feels healthy and energetic, which alleviates any worries about becoming a father again later in life.
How will Pitt manage a new family?
Pitt is already a father to six children from his previous marriage to Angelina Jolie. Since his youngest twins, Vivienne and Knox, are nearing adulthood, it’s been a while since he experienced the early stages of parenting.
However, he looks to friends like George Clooney, who had twins at age 56, to inspire him and reduce any anxiety about being an “older” dad.
Sadly, Pitt has faced struggles in his relationship with his kids. His daughter Shiloh made news when she legally requested to drop ‘Pitt’ from her name upon turning 18, a change approved by a judge last August.
Other children have also distanced themselves from the family name, highlighting the importance of healing.
Despite these challenges, Pitt‘s connection with De Ramon continues to thrive. Initially linked at the end of 2022, they have progressively revealed more about their romance, even making their first public appearance at the Venice Film Festival earlier this month.
Pitt intends to have two or three children with De Ramon and remains open to adoption or surrogacy, especially for the possibility of twins.
“He is truly a fantastic father,” noted a source, expressing confidence that De Ramon would also be a great mother.
The couple is determined to welcome their first child soon, followed by plans to extend their family rapidly.
