His current contract, which was signed in the summer of 2021, is due to expire at the end of this season. However, Romano’s sources indicate there are no concerns regarding the possibility of Carvajal moving to a rival European team.
Romano mentioned that all involved parties are satisfied, emphasizing Carvajal’s intent to remain at Real Madrid, stating he has no intentions of playing for another European side.
With six Champions League trophies to his name, he ranks as the joint-most successful player in the tournament’s history alongside his teammate Luka Modric. Additionally, he boasts four La Liga titles, two Copa del Rey victories, four Spanish Super Cups, five UEFA Super Cups, and five Club World Cups, making him one of the most accomplished players globally. His international achievements include a European Championship and a UEFA Nations League title with Spain, enhancing his impressive profile.
However, there is a slight twist to Romano’s report. He pointed out that while Carvajal is committed to avoiding any European clubs, he has not ruled out the possibility of finishing his career on another continent.
This raises the question: could Carvajal be considering a move to Major League Soccer (MLS) or the Saudi Pro League to wind down his playing days? It certainly appears to be an option worth pondering.
