The late legendary musician Lanre Fasasi, also known as Sound Sultan, was remembered by his wife, Farida Fasasi, during a visit to his gravesite alongside their children.
This poignant moment was captured in a touching video that Farida shared on her Instagram.
In her post, she expressed her feelings with a heartfelt message, writing: “May Allah ease your pain and grant you comfort. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un,” referencing a well-known Islamic phrase meaning “Indeed, to Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return.”
The video resonated with many, depicting the family as they prayed at the site of the singer’s burial, who passed away in 2021. Sound Sultan is lovingly remembered for his impactful music and legacy by both his family and fans.
