Jennifer Aniston Sets the Record Straight on Barack Obama Affair Speculation

Jennifer Aniston's Response To The Barack Obama Affair Rumors Isn't What We Expected

In a situation reminiscent of a “Friends” episode, Jennifer Aniston found herself denying a false claim about an alleged affair with Barack Obama. The rumor emerged from a sensationalist story, leading Aniston to clarify the truth—claiming the story was completely fabricated. After all, a couple like “Barackiston” just doesn’t sound right compared to her actual name.

These unfounded rumors were sparked by an August 2024 cover of InTouch Weekly that suggested a romantic connection between Aniston and Obama, leaving Michelle Obama feeling betrayed. However, during a September 2024 segment on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”, Aniston dismissed the story, expressing disbelief and stating that she had only met Barack once—and even joked about the absurdity of it all.

Despite the light-heartedness, Aniston firmly confirmed that the rumors held no truth. She emphasized her friendship with Michelle Obama, dispelling any notion of dating her.

Aniston is a big Obama fan and a staunch supporter

Although Jennifer Aniston isn’t romantically linked to Barack Obama, she is a dedicated supporter. In 2008, she actively contributed $28,500 to his presidential campaign, as documented in FEC files. Additionally, in 2015, she participated in a public service announcement against gun violence alongside Obama and other celebrities, which certainly doesn’t paint the picture of a secret love affair. Not to mention, Barack had just celebrated 32 happy years of marriage with Michelle.

On a personal front, Aniston has not yet found a new partner after her 2018 divorce from Justin Theroux. However, she does keep the door open to future relationships. Recently, during a podcast episode on “Lunch with Bruce,” she expressed her enjoyment of single life and taking time for herself after years of being part of a couple. Despite the possibility of dating again, she prefers to avoid dating apps, stating, “No Tinders and no Rayas, please. I’m an old-school girl.”
