Local Police Help Return Lost Wallet to Australian Tourist
On October 4, the police in Duy Vinh announced the successful return of a lost wallet to its owner, Babylynda Kappadais, who hails from Australia.
The wallet was discovered on October 2 by 55-year-old Mr. Ha Nam. He was riding motorbike through Duy Vinh, where he sells steamed buns, when he spotted a black leather wallet on the ground while crossing Ha Tan Bridge in Vinh Nam village.
Inside the wallet, Mr. Nam found a smartphone, cash, and several documents belonging to the wallet’s owner, an individual from abroad.
Acting promptly, Mr. Nam took the wallet to the Duy Vinh police station, seeking their help to identify and contact the owner.
After a careful investigation, the police located Babylynda Kappadais, who had lost her wallet while sightseeing in the area and was understandably anxious about her belongings.
When she received her wallet back, with everything in it, Babylynda was overjoyed. She expressed immense gratitude to Mr. Nam for his integrity and generosity.
