The post took a funny twist when a curious chicken decided to make an appearance.

In the video, Garner can be seen riding a toy tractor in overalls, with a live chicken in a cart she was pulling.

As she turned the tractor, the chicken jumped onto her head, leading to a startled shout of, “I don’t like this!” followed by a playful, “I don’t have that much love for chickens,” while she exaggerated a cough for comedic effect.

This humorous chicken encounter was just one element of her heartfelt salute to farmers and the rich history of her family’s farm in Oklahoma.

In addition to the funny video, Garner posted various clips and images showcasing her commitment to agriculture and her connection to the land her grandparents bought in 1936.

One video shows her planting a tree and lovingly kissing it, followed by a time-lapse of her caring for the tree as it grew. Another clip captures her singing while driving a tractor and harvesting sweet potatoes.

She also shared touching moments with her late parents, William John Garner and Patricia Ann Garner, both dressed in matching overalls while working the farm together.

Her caption read: “Farmers are the heart of our country, Happy #NationalFarmersDay! Love from your biggest fan, Farmer Jen,” reflecting her genuine appreciation for those in the farming community.

A Heritage of Agriculture

Jennifer Garner has a profound personal link to agriculture through her family’s land known as Locust Grove in Oklahoma, which has been in her family since 1936.

Acquiring the property in 2017, Garner harnesses this land to cultivate produce for her venture, Once Upon a Farm, focusing mainly on pumpkins while also growing blueberries, field peas, rye, and various native wildflowers.

She has candidly recounted the hardships her mother faced while growing up on the farm, particularly during tough times.

For her mother, witnessing the revitalization of the farm and its contributions to Once Upon a Farm brings a profound sense of pride.

Garner remarked, “Of all my accomplishments, this means the most to her – seeing her farm restored and nurturing plants for babies. It’s truly amazing.”

Through her engaging yet heartfelt social media updates, Jennifer Garner not only amused her audience but also celebrated her family’s agricultural legacy, highlighting her enduring love for family and tradition amidst moments of joy.
