The Wealth of Wynonna Judd: Exploring the Legacy of the Country Icon and Her Family Roots

Wynonna Judd suffers another blow due to her troubled daughter Grace Pauline Kelley

In the wake of Naomi Judd’s untimely passing over two years ago, fans have been curious about her daughter Wynonna’s financial status as she continues to lead the acclaimed band.

The Judds, a successful duo, earned eight gold and eight platinum records and were active from 1979 until 1991, disbanding due to health issues, particularly Naomi’s diagnosis of hepatitis C.

Following her mother’s death in 2022, Wynonna has continued her solo career and occasionally toured with Naomi when she was able to perform.

Despite being the most recognized member of the Judd family, Wynonna’s current net worth stands at approximately $12 million, which she attributes to embracing a lavish lifestyle similar to that of Elvis Presley.

“I literally went from the outhouse to the White House,” Wynonna shared with ABC News, reflecting on her journey. “I traveled, I hosted friends, I rented jets.”

“I adored that rock star lifestyle. I had an Elvis complex. I invested in motorcycles and cars. I even bought my mom a tour bus.”

After her time in rehab, Wynonna now owns land which she refrained from selling to avoid financial strain. The family possesses about 1000 acres known as “Peaceful Valley,” where both sisters reside, along with their late mother.

“Ashley lives right over that hill, just down the road,” Naomi remarked in a 2016 conversation with Oprah Winfrey. “And Wynonna lives just over that hill too.”

What happened to Naomi Judd?

Naomi Judd tragically ended her life in April 2022, shortly before a planned tour with Wynonna, at the age of 76 in her Tennessee home.

She had long struggled with anxiety disorders, depression, and suicidal thoughts, with medications contributing to negative effects such as hair loss and tremors, which compounded her issues.

“Today, we sisters faced a tragedy,” Wynonna and Ashley Judd announced on X.com (formerly Twitter). “We lost our beautiful mother to the illness of mental health.”
