Mele Kyari, the CEO of NNPCL, is grieving the loss of his 25-year-old daughter, Fatima, who passed away last Friday.

In a heartfelt message shared on his X account on October 15, he reflected on her passing, stating that she left at her “appointed time.”

Kyari emphasized that despite the challenges she faced, Fatima had a significant impact on many lives.

“My daughter Fatima departed at her appointed time. I look forward to reuniting with her in Jannah by Allah’s grace. While her loss is deeply felt, we are thankful to God for His mercies. I was unaware of the profound connections she had with so many and how much she meant to them,” he expressed.

He continued, highlighting that despite her struggles, she had a unique ability to connect with people and inspire warmth, including in his own life. “Her passing has united many and shown that we can care for one another, regardless of our circumstances. I extend my deepest gratitude to our leaders, family, friends, associates, colleagues, teachers, and all those who have joined us in prayers for her soul and offered us comfort,” he added.
