Gigi Hadid hinted before the show that she had a special nod to her close friend, Taylor Swift, ready to unveil. True to her word, she celebrated the pop star right from the start of the event.
She replicated Swift’s iconic “OH HI” entrance during her runway appearance, mirroring Taylor’s dramatic reveal from her Eras Tour. Adorned in elegant pink lingerie coupled with oversized angel wings, Gigi struck poses that lovingly echoed her friend before gracefully retreating from view.
Her Pre-Show Remarks
Leading up to the event, Gigi expressed her excitement to the audience: “There’s something unique about tonight’s runway, at least for me. I can’t recall it ever being done here before. There’s a technique Taylor taught me during her tour. Once, she went, ‘Let me show you how we do this,’ and tonight, I’m applying it!”
Following her statement, fans speculated about Taylor‘s potential attendance alongside her partner, NFL player Travis Kelce. However, Gigi clarified their absence, noting, “If they have one last evening before he returns (to KCC training), they might just be relaxing at home. That’s my guess,” as she shared with ‘Entertainment Tonight’.
Travis Kelce is slated to resume practice later this week as he prepares for their upcoming match with the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, October 20.
Gigi also shared that her current partner, actor Bradley Cooper, was not present due to his family commitments, stating, “He’s handling dad duties and will support me from home this evening.”
Expressing gratitude, Gigi appreciated the support from her friends, regardless of their physical presence at the event.
