This touching tribute resonated with her 2.5 million followers, who flooded the post with supportive messages.
Liam Payne passed away in Buenos Aires, where he reportedly fell from his hotel room at the Casa Sur Palmero around 5 PM on Wednesday. Witnesses saw the incident unfold, prompting local authorities to initiate an investigation into the matter.
As a founding member of One Direction, Payne gained fame alongside Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, and Louis Tomlinson. He had gone to Argentina earlier in the month, likely to attend a concert featuring his former bandmate Horan.
Emergency Help Was Summoned
Authorities disclosed that they received reports of a guest behaving erratically in the hotel. Eyewitness testimonials indicated that Payne may have been under the influence of substances, which led hotel staff to call for immediate help.
Law enforcement arrived shortly after a loud noise was reported from the courtyard, where they found Liam’s body. According to the BBC, the responding officers were alerted by a staff member who described an “aggressive man.” Emergency recordings revealed that the staff urgently requested help, stating, “He’s conscious but is destroying everything; we need someone to come quickly.”
As reported by TMZ, earlier that same day, Liam was seen behaving strangely in the hotel lobby, where he damaged his laptop and required help to return to his room. Sadly, this troubling behavior preceded his fatal fall.
Liam’s remains have since been taken to a local morgue for an autopsy. Unverified images have emerged online, reportedly showing his hotel room in chaos, with a broken television among the wreckage.
