Ben Affleck appears to be embracing a new chapter in his life after his recent separation from Jennifer Lopez. This shift includes a new look and lifestyle adjustments that are catching people’s attention. His transformation is reportedly causing some discontent with his ex-partner, particularly due to the timing.
Once recognized for his relaxed fashion, Affleck is now opting for a more refined style.
An insider shared with In Touch, “Ben is really taking the time to treat himself and elevate his appearance.”
He has begun dying his hair, indulging in manicures and pedicures, and undergoing full-body waxing. Furthermore, he’s pursuing hair restoration and dermatologist visits to enhance his skin.
His diet has also improved significantly, with a notable reduction in junk food.
Affleck’s revamped appearance
The actor was seen in Santa Monica on October 3, looking quite different while enjoying time with his son, Fin.
Dressed in a crisp blue button-up, black slacks, and polished shoes, his transformed and well-groomed appearance was evident. His hair and beard were neatly trimmed, and the usual gray was noticeably less visible.
A source remarked, “It feels like a direct insult because it implies she wasn’t worth these changes, but now that he’s single and looking to attract new partners, he’s put in the effort to improve his image.”
The source further added, “Everyone is telling her he’s just a foolish middle-aged man who doesn’t deserve her, but she’s furious and feeling disappointed too.”
Affleck and Lopez reignited their romance nearly 20 years after breaking off their first engagement in 2004. Throughout their years apart, they maintained a fond sentiment toward each other, ultimately reuniting in 2021 and marrying in July 2022. However, their storybook romance was short-lived.
Less than two years after tying the knot, issues began to surface within their marriage. They were largely apart during the summer of 2024 and even missed celebrating their second anniversary together.
