At the Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit in Laguna Niguel, California, she spoke candidly about her absence from the film industry.
She remarked, “I needed to reclaim my life.” Diaz emphasized the importance of following your passions, declaring that for her, it was the desire to focus on her family.
Cameron’s Return to Acting
During the event, Diaz caught everyone’s attention, and although she’s been away, she is set to return in the upcoming Netflix film Back in Action, featuring Jamie Foxx. She also shared her thoughts on growth and self-discovery.
Diaz shared, “I believed that without understanding myself and focusing my energy, I couldn’t move on.” She encouraged others to take their time to pursue their next passion.
In addition to her family life, Diaz has ventured into the wine industry. She co-founded the organic and vegan wine brand Avaline with Katherine Power in 2020, a project that she is quite passionate about.
