A Shocking Legacy: The Unexpected Inheritance of Warwick Davis’ Late Wife

Warwick Davis' wife, known for 'Willow' and 'Harry Potter', left a surprising inheritance after her death

Samantha Davis, who was married to actor Warwick Davis, passed away in March at the age of 53. She left behind an inheritance exceeding £500,000. The couple enjoyed a long-lasting relationship of over 30 years, precisely 33 years. Warwick, recognized for his role in ‘Harry Potter’, referred to Samantha as “his best friend, confidante, and greatest support”. Furthermore, Warwick is named as the sole beneficiary and trustee of her will, revealing an estate valued at £536,830 as reported by The Sun.

What united Samantha and Warwick?

Samantha Davis and Warwick Davis first crossed paths on the ‘Willow’ set in 1988, with each taking on different roles. They tied the knot in 1991 and welcomed three children, though one tragically passed away at birth. Their surviving children, Annabelle and Harrison, paid heartfelt homage to their mother, celebrating her as a wonderful mom and best friend.

Samantha’s battle with achondroplasia, a form of dwarfism, coincided with Warwick’s condition of congenital spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia, which restricts his height to three feet and six inches. Their shared experiences fostered deep understanding and compassion, steering their efforts in a charitable cause aimed at championing people with dwarfism in the UK.

Samantha had faced health struggles in recent years, nearly losing her life in 2019 due to severe sepsis, which required emergency hospitalization. Warwick described the experience as incredibly distressing: “The longest hours of my life, as my children and I said goodbye to her, even though she pulled through”.

Reflecting on his wife’s passing last March, Warwick shared: “She always found joy in life and laughed at my terrible jokes. Her resilience and outlook on life will be a lasting legacy for our children and me; she was truly an extraordinary person.”
