Georgina Cooper, a prominent British supermodel celebrated for epitomizing the Cool Britannia period, has tragically passed away at 46 during a visit to Greece. Reports indicate that she fell ill while staying on the island of Kos with her husband, Nigel.
Cooper was first admitted to a hospital in Kos on October 21 before being evacuated to Crete to receive more advanced medical care. Unfortunately, after five days of treatment, she succumbed. While the official cause of death has not been revealed, sources suggest it involved a brain hemorrhage related to complications from long COVID.
Dean Goodman, Cooper’s former agent, confirmed that her health had been deteriorating since she contracted COVID-19. Despite the challenges, she maintained a positive outlook and was excited about her future with her husband.

Cooper was discovered at just 13 years old during the Elite Look of The Year competition, quickly making her mark as one of the top models of the 1990s.
