During his appearance on ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’, Tim Dillon reflected on ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’: “My fellow supporting actors and I had our reservations from the start. We would often sit together trying to understand the plot. It left us quite puzzled, as the script and film development seemed to lack a coherent direction.”

Dillon, who portrayed a guard at Arkham Asylum, expressed his bewilderment regarding the choices made by the filmmakers: “They avoided addressing the controversial elements that marked the first film, likely to sidestep backlash. The creators seemed to retract too much.”

The initial ‘Joker’ film earned over $1 billion globally and even won an Oscar, which starkly contrasts the performance of its sequel, which made only around $200 million. Furthermore, ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’ scored just 32% on Rotten Tomatoes.

To conclude, Dillon conveyed a strong message about the film: “The perspectives of everyone involved in the project, especially the supporting actors who had doubts from the beginning, were neglected. It is indeed the worst ever made.”
