From Heartbreak to Empowerment: My Journey as a Gold Digger

I Became A Gold Digger After I Was Financially (via Primetweets)
Nigerian actress Sarah Martins has opened up about her experience of financial betrayal in a past relationship, leading to her current mindset on love and support.

In a candid Instagram post, Sarah Martins shared that she once contributed 50% of her earnings to her ex-boyfriend for six months, only to find out that he was using that money to help another woman’s business.

This revelation has had a significant emotional impact on Martins, making her wary of deeply investing in relationships again.

She now states that any support she gives to a partner must be matched by that partner’s support for her.

“At one point, I handed over half of my salary to my ex for six months, and he was silly enough to give it to another woman,” she noted.

“He even financed her business with my hard work, and soon after, that woman married someone else once he was done setting her up.”

“I am a loving person and tend to go all out for those I care about. However, after feeling betrayed, I no longer give a man anything!”

“With full conviction, I AM NOW A GOLD DIGGER. I will support my partner to my best ability, but he must first support me sufficiently to earn my reciprocity in his times of need.”
