Muhammad Ibraheem, hailing from Bauchi State, has canceled his wedding due to genetic incompatibility.
The ceremony was initially set for November 8, 2024, but was rescheduled to November 29.
In his emotional Facebook announcement, Ibraheem expressed his heartbreak, emphasizing his anticipation for a shared future with Fatima.
Both he and Fatima have the AS genotype, which raises significant health concerns for potential offspring.
“Dear friends and family, with a very heavy heart, I must announce the cancellation of my wedding. We’ve had to make this tough choice due to unexpected genetic compatibility issues,” he stated.
“This news is a devastating blow, leaving my heart in pieces. We were both excited to start this new chapter, but the implications of our genotypes (AS + AS=!!) proved to be a major barrier.”
“I’m finding it hard to accept this sudden change. Your support and compassion are invaluable to me during this tough time.”
“Please keep me in your prayers as I face this difficult period. I greatly appreciate your empathy and kindness.”
