The recording, dated October 16 at 4:54 p.m., captures Payne being moved by hotel staff, utterly unresponsive. Thirteen minutes later, he fell from the hotel balcony. Although the visuals raise serious concerns about the lack of medical assistance, differing timestamps from other cameras have further complicated the investigation into his final hours.
Payne, aged 31, exhibited erratic behavior prior to his fall, with reports of him convulsing in the hotel lobby. Despite this alarming condition, he was found alone in his room at 5:17 p.m. An autopsy later revealed the presence of a dangerous combination of substances in his system, including crack cocaine and “pink cocaine.”

Investigators suspect Payne was involved in a drug-fueled binge with two women, who reportedly departed the hotel after a conflict.
Authorities are focusing on three persons of interest, including Payne’s acquaintance Rogelio “Roger” Nores and a former hotel staff member, Braian Nahuel Paiz, who is alleged to have provided drugs to Payne.
