Meghan Trainor Opens Up About Regret Over Facial Procedure: “I Can’t Even Smile”

Meghan Trainor regrets undergoing facial procedure as she 'cannot smile anymore'

Meghan Trainor has expressed some regrets about her Botox experience during a recent episode of her podcast.

On the November 20 episode of ‘Workin’ On It with Meghan Trainor & Ryan Trainor’, Meghan revealed that she received an excessive amount of Botox, impacting her ability to smile naturally.

She humorously remarked, “I got too much Botox and I need help. I messed up. I’ve had Botox a few times… just on my forehead.”

She explained that someone had persuaded her to try a lip flip, suggesting that injecting filler above her upper lip would enhance its appearance.

“For the first time in my life at 30, I thought it could happen – but it didn’t work out,” she admitted.

However, Trainor expressed disappointment as the outcome has made her smile more difficult. “I cannot smile anymore,” was her candid observation, followed by a small smile for emphasis. “This is as big as I can smile.”

Ryan Trainor, her brother and co-host, recalled a memory from a trip to Home Goods where he pointed out, “Bro, you can’t smile,” admitting, “My inside thoughts became my outside thoughts.”

Meghan replied, “And I cannot unsee it. Now, I can’t smile anywhere. My face actually hurts when I try to smile.”

She shared a photo of herself with a dog from a recent visit to a shelter, joking, “I don’t look happy. I look like I smelled someone’s fart… somebody help me!”

Meghan’s First Botox Experience

Meghan further discussed her initial decision to try Botox, which led to many compliments from others.

“I thought, ‘This looks youthful.’ People said I looked rested, so I decided to do it again after returning from tour,” she shared.

Reflecting on her journey, she advised, “Don’t try everything.”
