Ben Affleck is seeking assistance from his ex-wife as he aims to start anew, moving on from Jennifer Lopez while they finalize their divorce.
The couple began their relationship in 2020 and tied the knot in 2022, but a tumultuous latter part of 2023 and an even more challenging start to 2024 led to their separation.
Lopez reached her limit and filed for divorce in August, stating they had been apart since April, missing both their birthdays and anniversary together.
As they navigate their breakup, Affleck seeks guidance from Jennifer Garner, his former spouse and mother of his children, to help identify potential partners for him.
“He’s looking for something substantial,” a source revealed to RadarOnline.com. “He trusts Jennifer’s judgment in spotting authentic individuals.”
“Affleck is on the lookout for someone stable and mature, having had his fill of Hollywood temptations.”
Furthermore, the source emphasized, “He’s clear about wanting a sober partner, someone who can relate to his lifestyle choices.”
Garner’s Support
Despite being separated, Garner continues to be a pillar of support for Affleck, especially given their shared responsibilities in raising their three kids.
Recently, her willingness to help him has been amplified due to the strain it places on her own relationship with John C. Miller.
