Travis Kelce, a prominent player for the Kansas City Chiefs, honored his partner Taylor Swift after her remarkable $2 billion Eras Tour wrapped up. On the December 11 episode of his New Heights podcast, co-hosted with his brother Jason Kelce, Travis commented on the significance of Swift’s success, labeling it “the best tour in the world.”
“Big shout out to Tay, the incredible Eras tour is officially over,” Travis stated.
The Eras Tour began its journey in March 2023 and lasted almost two years, featuring over 150 performances worldwide and attracting more than 10 million fans.
Jason, who is a retired NFL player, displayed curiosity similar to many fans, inquiring, “How many shows? Do you remember the number?”
Travis humorously replied, “149 or 152. I can’t recall. Let’s just say it was a f**k ton.”
The Chiefs tight end expressed enthusiasm for Swift‘s achievements.
“It’s her music and her tour, but it was a grand production too,” he remarked. “That was the best tour on the planet, mostly thanks to Taylor and many others.”
A Groundbreaking Tour
Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour officially concluded on December 8, 2024, with a spectacular last show in Vancouver, Canada. The artist expressed her gratitude to fans through a message on X, describing the tour as “the most thrilling chapter of my entire life so far.”
“Thank you to each one of you for being a part of the most exhilarating time of my life – my cherished Eras Tour,” Swift shared.
This tour set new records with over $2 billion in ticket sales, which is twice the gross from any other concert tour ever.
